Dan Woolley has been a brilliant acquisition for Dee Point in a time where we have grown as a school and almost doubled in size, alongside having a brand new school building and with that a new ICT infrastructure. Dan has been incredible in terms of his knowledge, flexibility and innate ability to seek solutions for all ICT and computing issues. Alongside this, his open minded and calm approach to a busy and ever changing school landscape is both refreshing and invaluable. As well as this Dan has helped to improve other areas in the school, more recently he has supported the teaching of computing in Year 6 and has re-designed some of the school certificates that we use for a range of celebrations and achievements. He has successfully managed our website, internal TV and a new parent APP and Parent Pay which has enabled parents to have everything in school at the touch of a button. The launch of a new APP was seamless and hugely efficient with little involvement needed by school and it has been well received by parents to date. Dan has equally supported the governing body in the implementation of a secure network for governor documents. At the heart of all that he does it is about best value without sacrificing quality and effectiveness for our children and families. Dan will use his time effectively, report in detail what has been established and always ensures he tailors his workload to what the school needs Dan has quickly become an incredibly well respected and valued member of the school staff.
